Oh Lord ! give me that much only food which is sufficient for my family. I should not be hungry and even saints who arrive at my door should be well served. As Kabir's financial condition was not that well so here he prays to God to help him to feed his family, himself and all those who arrive at his place. Here Kabir is not diluting the importance of hard work but instead he is adding his prayers to his work as a cloth-weaver.
